Position: Dean - Learning

Location: Sharda University, Greater Noida

About the Role:

The university is looking for a Dean - Learning to lead how faculty teaches and how students learn, with a strong focus on AI/ML and emerging tech. You will shape the curriculum, guide faculty, bring in industry, and make sure students leave genuinely job-ready.

Experience & Qualifications:

- 10+ years of experience, ideally in AI/ML, tech-driven education, or digital learning

- B.Tech/M.Tech or Ph.D. in CS, AI, ML, Data Science, IT or related field, preferably from a top institute

- Experience at a major tech company (Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, NVIDIA, or similar) is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

- Set the direction for academics and learning across AI/ML and emerging tech

- Keep curriculum current - AI/ML, Data Science, Generative AI - and aligned with industry

- Build faculty skills through training and industry collaboration

- Bring AI into teaching and assessment itself (adaptive learning, learning analytics, and similar tools), responsibly

- Build industry partnerships - guest lectures, live projects, internships

- Push student-facing initiatives like hackathons and tech competitions

- Track learning outcomes and keep improving academic quality
