About the Role :

We are hiring a Dean Academics for a reputed University in Bengaluru. This is a senior academic leadership role responsible for driving academic excellence, curriculum innovation, and overall academic governance across the institution.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and oversee all academic functions of the university

- Drive curriculum development, review, and innovation aligned with industry standards

- Ensure academic quality, compliance, and accreditation requirements are met

- Develop and implement academic policies, frameworks, and best practices

- Collaborate with department heads to enhance teaching methodologies and student outcomes

- Monitor academic performance, faculty effectiveness, and student success metrics

- Lead faculty recruitment, development, and performance management initiatives

- Foster industry-academia partnerships and research-driven learning

- Ensure smooth execution of academic calendars, examinations, and evaluation processes

Required Candidate Profile :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Masters/PhD preferred)

- 10- 12 years of relevant academic experience

- Currently working in a University setup as Dean / Associate Dean Academics

- Strong understanding of academic governance, accreditation, and regulatory frameworks

- Proven leadership experience in managing academic teams and driving institutional growth

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and strategic thinking skills

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in leading large academic teams

- Exposure to outcome-based education and NEP-aligned frameworks

- Strong industry connections and research orientation
