Dealer - Fixed Income (Insurance / AMC)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Updating daily cash flow position for debt schemes and portfolio file in coordination with investment operation team.

- Cash flow management: Liaising with Sales team, Banking team and Investment operation team for daily inflows/outflows.

- Margin Management: Liaising with Investment operation team for placement/withdrawal of margins with various entities and updating the same to the FMs

- Regulatory Limits: Checking of various regulatory as well as internal limits on going basis and liaising with the Investment Restriction team regarding the same

- Deal entry: Entering trades into dealing system and RFQ system after conducting the hygiene checks with respect to regulatory and internal limits.

- Deal settlement: Follow up with the Investment operations team for the settlement of daily trades.

- Debt sourcing and executing a variety of fixed income instruments like Govt. Securities (incl. T-Bills), Overnight Index Swaps (OIS) / other fixed-income derivatives, Corporate Bonds (Including Commercial Papers, Certificate of Deposits) both in primary and secondary market, Repo Market etc.

- Economic research: Maintain high frequency economic data - global and domestic

- Well versed with all dealing systems like NDS, TREPS, CROMS, E-Kuber, Bloomberg, EBP, RFQ etc.

- Competitor Analysis: portfolio analysis vs peers and benchmarks

- Trade ideas for the funds

- Attribution for Fund Performance

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint presentation

- Strong customer relationship building skills and Presentation skills

- Good communication, interpersonal skills

- Highly motivated and high energy personality.

- 7-10 years in Fixed income trading and Fund Management
