Role Overview :

As a Deal Sourcing Specialist within our Debt Syndication team in Mumbai, you will be at the forefront of identifying and cultivating new business opportunities in the debt market. Your day-to-day will involve rigorous market research, networking with potential clients, and building strong relationships with financial institutions. You will collaborate closely with the Debt Syndication team, credit risk, and legal teams to assess deal feasibility and structure. Your efforts will directly contribute to expanding our debt portfolio and driving revenue growth by connecting businesses with optimal financing solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Identify and qualify potential debt syndication opportunities across various sectors by conducting thorough market research and industry analysis.

- Develop and maintain a robust network of relationships with corporates, financial institutions, and intermediaries to generate deal flow.

- Conduct initial due diligence on potential deals, assessing financial viability and alignment with the firm's risk appetite.

- Prepare compelling pitch books and presentations to showcase the firm's capabilities and attract potential clients.

- Collaborate with the Debt Syndication team to structure and execute debt transactions, ensuring optimal terms for both the client and the firm.

- Track and report on deal sourcing activities, providing regular updates to senior management on pipeline development and conversion rates.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to identify and evaluate debt financing opportunities, leveraging strong financial analysis and market research skills.

- Proven networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior executives and financial professionals.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively.

- Solid understanding of debt markets, credit analysis, and financial modeling techniques.

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

- Adaptable to a fast-paced, on-site work environment in Mumbai.
