Deal Sourcing Specialist - Debt Syndication - Bank

Role Overview

We are looking for a Deal Sourcing Specialist to drive pipeline creation for our debt syndication business. This role focuses on identifying and onboarding high-quality funding opportunities across startups, MSMEs, and SMEs.

You will play a key role in building a consistent flow of deals by engaging with founders, finance leaders, and business owners, and aligning their funding needs with suitable debt solutions.

What You'll Do :

- Source and build a strong pipeline of debt funding opportunities across startups and SMEs

- Engage with founders, CFOs, and decision-makers to understand financing requirements

- Map client needs to relevant debt instruments (term loans, working capital, etc.)

- Maintain a steady flow of opportunities across - 50L to - 5Cr+ ticket sizes

- Collaborate with internal teams for smooth handover of sourced deals

- Track market trends and identify new opportunities in lending and credit ecosystems

- Strengthen relationships to ensure repeat deal flow and network expansion

What We're Looking For

- 3+ years of experience in debt syndication, loan sourcing, or credit-related roles

- Strong ability to source clients and build pipelines (not limited to deal closure)

- Understanding of debt products and basic credit assessment concepts

- Strong networking skills with founders, SMEs, and finance leaders

- Ability to generate consistent deal flow across mid-sized ticket ranges

- Strong communication and relationship management skills

Preferred Background

- Experience in investment banking, corporate banking, NBFCs, or financial advisory

- Exposure to startup or SME financing ecosystems

- Interest in credit markets and structured finance
