Deal Lead - Loan Syndication

Role & responsibilities:

- Collaborate with Relationship Management groups to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.

- Implement policies and processes, including operational, regulatory, financial, informational, reputational, and audit risks, to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.

- Develop and maintain internal control systems within the department to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

- Participate in departmental audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.

- Implement corrective actions and practices to address gaps identified during departmental audits, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.

Underwriting & Deal Structuring:

- Continuous scanning of loan syndication opportunities in the sector in close co-ordination with the Banks relationship and credit team.

- Identify Groups for underwriting.

- Develop deal structures and negotiate terms in line with prevailing market dynamics.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Relevant experience in loan syndication, project finance background.
