We are looking for a DGM/GM Maintenance to lead and oversee the plant maintenance function in our Soda Ash Manufacturing Company. Candidate will be responsible for the following Key Responsibilities: 1. Maintenance Strategy: - Should have sound knowledge of Dry Section, Wet Section & General Maintenance, DCS, PLC, Microprocessor base instrument & field instrument and has exposure in Captive Power Plant and Boiler Proficiency - Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy to ensure the reliability and availability of plant equipment and machinery. - Define preventive and predictive maintenance plans to minimize downtime. 2. Team Leadership: - Lead and manage the maintenance team, including supervisors, engineers, technicians, and support staff. - Provide guidance, coaching, and professional development to team members. 3. Asset Management: - Oversee the management and maintenance of all plant assets, including production machinery, utilities, and infrastructure. - Monitor the performance of critical equipment and ensure timely repairs and replacements. 4. Reliability Improvement: - Implement reliability-centered maintenance practices to improve equipment reliability and reduce breakdowns. - Analyze data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. 5. Budget and Resource Management: - Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. - Procure necessary spare parts, tools, and equipment to support maintenance activities. 6. Safety and Compliance: - Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements. - Conduct safety audits and promote a culture of safety among maintenance staff. 7. Vendor and Contractor Management: - Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services and equipment procurement. - Negotiate contracts, review performance, and ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms. 8. Documentation and Reporting: - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history. - Generate reports on maintenance performance, including downtime analysis and cost-effectiveness. Candidate will: - Hold Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field; a Master's degree is a plus. - Proven experience in plant maintenance management within the soda ash or chemical manufacturing industry. - Strong technical expertise in industrial equipment and machinery maintenance. - Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance. - Budget management and cost control experience. - Familiarity with maintenance software and predictive maintenance tools is desirable.
