
Data Value Manager/ Data Domain Manager (2-6 yrs)
Purpose:
Data Value Manager plays a critical role in bridging business, data, and technology within the data and analytics (DnA) team. This role acts as a strategic partner to business domain teams - driving high-impact, data-enabled initiatives that enhance customer insight, improve service offerings, and deliver measurable value.
Additionally, as the Data Value Manager, the role supports onboarding of new domains, manages engagement with domains throughout their lifecycle, and ensures alignment across the data mesh ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with domain stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and deliver high-impact use cases that improve decision-making and drive business performance
- Translate domain needs into clear data product and service value propositions linked to business value and strategic outcomes
- Co-own the roadmap and prioritization of DnA initiatives within the domains
- Ensure delivery of data products aligned to business value and DnA architectural standards
- Manage cross-functional projects delivering complex, high-impact data initiatives across multiple business functions
- Track project scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables in alignment with data governance frameworks
- Provide transparent progress updates and stakeholder communications
- Coordinate with IT, platform and developers to ensure technical enablement and delivery continuity
- Act as first point of contact for new and existing domains within central functions.
- Onboard new domains to processes, tools, and access management.
Experience Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in project management, data analysis, or data product management
- Proven track record in managing complex data or analytics projects with multiple stakeholders
- Preferably experience working in a data mesh, federated or domain-centric data environment
- Preferably experience with data consulting
- Exposure to data strategy, governance, and data architecture concepts
- Prior experience supporting enterprise domain teams (e.g., Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Customer Operations, etc.) preferred
Mandatory Capabilities & Skills:
- Ability to connect data initiatives directly to financial and operational outcomes Strong in stakeholder engagement, workshops facilitation, and identifying value.
- Experienced in agile methodologies or project management methods; proficient with tools like Jira, Asana or equivalent tools
- Ability to coordinate delivery across data engineering, analytics, IT, and business teams
- Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical audiences

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field
- International experience good to have
