Data Scientist - Text Analytics & GenAI

About the Role:

We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist Text Analytics & GenAI to design and deliver cutting-edge solutions that transform unstructured textual data into actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to apply NLP, NLU, and Generative AI techniques across diverse real-world use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define data-driven solutions leveraging

text and language data.

- Design and implement NLP/NLG/NLU models for semantic understanding, entity recognition,

and text summarization.

- Experiment with and fine-tune pre-trained LLMs and embedding models (e.g., GPT, Llama 2, Falcon, Mistral).

- Develop scalable pipelines for data ingestion, model training, and deployment.

- Apply machine learning and deep learning techniques to extract insights from large textual datasets.

- Integrate AI models into business workflows to drive measurable impact.

- Stay current with the latest advancements in Text Analytics, LLMs, and GenAI tools and frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 5+ years of experience with Python and analytical tools on large-scale datasets.

- Strong expertise in Semantic Models and Named Entity Recognition (NER).

- Deep hands-on experience in NLP/NLU/NLG using PyTorch, TensorFlow, BERT, LangChain, and

OpenCV.

- Practical exposure to GenAI models such as GPT 3.5/4, Llama 2, Mistral, Falcon, and Prompt Engineering.

- Experience with Azure ML or other cloud-based AI/ML services.

- Sound understanding of ML algorithms: Linear/Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Clustering, Text Mining, Forecasting, and Optimization.

- Strong programming and data skills Python, SQL, and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow.

- Demonstrated ability to engage clients, translate problems into AI solutions, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

- High-level understanding of language semantics and data standardization principles.
