Data Science Lead - Structured Data - Work from Office (5 days)

The Sales Analytics team works closely with business channels in improving campaigns and designing sales strategies, using advanced analytics and insights.

We are looking for candidates with 6-8 years of data analytics, ML and predictive modeling experience. The candidate would work on real-life problem in sales analytics and interact with senior leadership to drive analytics solutions & implementation. The candidate would perform statistical analytics, develop predictive models, and lead these to implementation. This role requires a good command in Python and SQL and preferably experience of AWS ML ecosystem.

Responsibility:

- Perform data analysis and develop predictive models/ generate data insights for sales channels

- Work with channel teams to understand business and identify opportunities to improve using analytics

- Translate business problems into analytics problem statement

- Execute analytics project from data analysis, feature engineering, model development through implementation & tracking

- Follow model governance guidelines and best practices

- Strong presentation skills

- Mentor Junior Team members

Education: Graduate / Post Graduate (Engineering / Statistics / Economics or similar subjects)

Work exp:

- Experience in executing several data science and predictive modelling projects, preferably in financial services, or sales and marketing

- Worked with business teams in identifying analytics opportunities, formulated problem statement and presented results

- Delivered projects using ML techniques: GLM/ Regression, Clustering, Decision Tree, Boosting, etc.

- Proficiency in Python (scikit-learn, pandas) and SQL

- Proficient in verbal and written communication

Office is based in Mahalaxmi, Mumbai. This is a 5 day work from office job.
