About the Role
- We are seeking Data Scientists with strong foundations in signal processing, sensor fusion, and AI/ML modeling for real-world hardware-integrated environments.
- The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with quantum hardware and drone engineering teams to analyze, model, and fuse magnetometer, IMU, and UAV telemetry data for precision navigation and anomaly detection.
- You will design and implement data pipelines, fusion models, and inference architectures that translate complex multi-sensor datasets into actionable insights and control strategies.
What You'll Do?
Sensor Intelligence & Data Fusion:
- Build scalable data ingestion, preprocessing, and cleaning pipelines for magnetometer, IMU, and UAV telemetry data.
- Develop and train physics-informed ML models for trajectory estimation, drift correction, and anomaly detection.
- Implement Kalman/Particle filters and deep sensor fusion frameworks (LSTM, Transformer, or Graph-based).
- Fuse magnetic, inertial, and positional data to achieve robust localization under GPS-denied conditions.
Geospatial Analytics & Visualization:
- Generate magnetic anomaly maps and heatmaps from airborne and terrestrial survey data.
- Apply statistical analysis, clustering, and signal denoising to extract spatial patterns.
- Build internal visual dashboards for real-time data interpretation and mission replay.
Collaboration & Deployment:
- Work with hardware engineers to design data interfaces and synchronization standards for live acquisition.
- Participate in field calibration, testing, and post-mission data validation.
- Document algorithms, results, and contribute to proposal writing and IP filings.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- B.Tech / M.Tech / Ph.D. in Data Science, Physics, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or Applied Mathematics.
- 2-8 years of experience in multi-sensor data analytics, robotics, or scientific ML.
- Proven expertise in Python, NumPy/Pandas, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Scikit-learn.
- Strong grasp of signal processing (Fourier/wavelet transforms) and noise modeling.
- Experience with geospatial tools (GeoPandas, QGIS, rasterio) and sensor fusion frameworks.
- Familiarity with Kalman filtering, Bayesian statistics, and time-series modeling.
- Prior work involving UAV telemetry, inertial data, or magnetic field mapping preferred.
Preferred Skills (Bonus):
- Experience with edge AI model deployment (TensorRT, ONNX, Jetson).
- Exposure to defense or aerospace datasets.
- Familiarity with ROS, Gazebo, or robotics simulation environments.
- Knowledge of drone dynamics, control systems, or embedded ML inference.
What We Offer?
- Opportunity to pioneer AI-driven quantum sensing and navigation technologies in India.
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary R&D team of physicists, engineers, and AI researchers.
- Access to cutting-edge datasets and hardware infrastructure.
- Competitive compensation, milestone bonuses, and IP participation opportunities.
