Role & Responsibilities : Data strategy : - Work as a senior data strategist, identifying and integrating new datasets that can be leveraged through our product capabilities and work closely with the engineering team to strategize and execute the development of data products - Identify relevant data sources and sets to mine for product goals - Formulate hypotheses in alignment with business outcomes and analyze data for trends and patterns to generate actionable insights - Execute analytical experiments methodically to help evangelize various fuzzy problems into scalable data backed solutions - Devise and utilize algorithms and models to mine big data stores, large structured and unstructured datasets, with a flair for continuous enhancement in model accuracy and reproducibility across platforms. - Communicate analytic solutions to stakeholders to have a buy-in from a larger audience Production deployment : Implement analytical models into production by collaborating with software developers and machine learning engineers Experience / Education Requirements : Mandatory : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related discipline - 2 to 5 years experience in application of Data Science and ML skills Preferable : Experience in Fintech, Retail or Ecommerce space Required Skills & Expertise : Coding & technology : - Experience in Python, SQL, Big Query, Advanced excel and visualization tools (Tableau / Data Studio) - Proficiency with large scale data handling, data mining & ETL techniques - Good applied statistics skills such as distributions, statistical testing, linear and logistic regression etc. - Experience in selection of features, building and optimizing classifiers using ML techniques - Excellent understanding of ML algorithms such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Tree, XGBoost etc. - Comfortable working in a dynamic, research-oriented group with several ongoing concurrent projects Competitive advantage (Good to have) ; - Model Deployment & integration using TF/TF Lite - Experience in Big Data, Big Query, and dimensionality reduction Competitive advantage (Good to have) : - Model Deployment & integration using TF/TF Lite - Experience in Big Data, Big Query, and dimensionality reduction
