Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with a strong background in Machine Learning, AI/ML, and Predictive Modeling to work on advanced analytics initiatives within the manufacturing domain. The ideal candidate will leverage data-driven insights to optimize operations, enhance productivity, and support strategic decision-making. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, hands-on modeling experience, and the ability to translate complex business problems into scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and deploy machine learning and AI/ML models for manufacturing use cases such as demand forecasting, predictive maintenance, quality optimization, and supply chain analytics

- Build predictive models to improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime

- Analyze large structured and unstructured datasets to derive actionable insights

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, data engineers, and domain experts

- Design and implement end-to-end data science solutions from problem definition to deployment

- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively

- Apply statistical techniques and advanced analytics to solve complex business problems

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related quantitative field from a Top Tier Institute (IIT, NIT, BITS, ISI, IISc, or equivalent premier institutions)

- Strong experience in Machine Learning, AI/ML, and Predictive Modeling

- Proficiency in Python/R and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch

- Experience with SQL and data manipulation techniques

- Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and optimization techniques

- Hands-on experience working with large datasets and building scalable models

- Knowledge of manufacturing analytics use cases is highly preferred

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in manufacturing, industrial analytics, or supply chain domain

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Experience in deploying models into production environments

- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills

Experience: 5+ years (flexible based on candidate profile)
