Data Scientist - Logistics/eCommerce/Startup

A fast-scaling logistics / e-commerce startup is looking to hire a Data Scientist.

You will work at the intersection of AI/ML, geospatial intelligence, computer vision, and LLM-driven autonomous systems to solve some of India's most complex last-mile challenges.

You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Ops teams to build intelligent systems that enhance delivery accuracy, reduce fraud, and drive operational excellence at scale.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and deploy ML models for logistics optimization, including geospatial intelligence, RTO prediction, quality checks, and fraud detection.

- Apply NLP and CV techniques to standardize Indian addresses and automate doorstep quality/security workflows.

- Develop LLM-based agentic systems for autonomous decision-making and support.

- Analyze large-scale operational and geospatial data to drive product and process improvements.

- Maintain scalable data pipelines and production ML models with continuous monitoring and iteration.

- Run A/B tests and experimentation to validate ML-driven interventions.

- Monitor and optimize production ML models for performance and reliability.

Required Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related engineering disciplines.

- 3-5 years of experience in applied Machine Learning or Data Science.

- Strong proficiency in Python, ML frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch), and data processing tools.

- Hands-on experience with at least one of the following: NLP (Transformers), Computer Vision, Recommendation/Prediction models.

- Experience deploying models to production and working with real-world data at scale.

- Strong problem-solving abilities, data intuition, and product-oriented thinking.
