What You Will Do:
- Develop and implement models and run experiments to infer actionable insights from complex data sets.
- Improve product usability by leveraging data, and identify new growth opportunities.
- Understand reseller preferences to ensure the provision of the most relevant products.
- Design effective discount programs aimed at boosting reseller sales.
- Help resellers better recognize end-customer preferences to ultimately improve their revenue.
- Use data analysis to identify bottlenecks that can help suppliers meet their Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.
- Model seasonal demand to accurately predict key organizational metrics.
- Mentor junior data scientists in the team, fostering their growth and skill development.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges.
- Transform disparate pieces of information into cohesive and valuable data assets.
- Share and present your valuable insights clearly and effectively with peers and leadership.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a similar quantitative field.
- 2-4 years of experience as a Data Scientist in a fast-paced organization, preferably in a B2C environment.
- Familiarity with foundational concepts such as Neural Networks and Machine Learning.
- Proficiency with data manipulation and analysis tools like SQL, R, and Python.
- Strong understanding of Statistics and Linear Algebra.
- Solid understanding of hypothesis testing and model validation, with the ability to identify common model testing errors.
- Experience designing and running A/B tests and effectively drawing actionable insights from their results.
- Proficiency in various machine learning algorithms and their application.
- Excellent analytical skills to source reliable data and generate accurate insights.
- Experience working within tech and product teams is a plus.
