Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Data Scientist to spearhead our Generative AI initiatives, driving innovation across our product ecosystem. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex research and scalable enterprise applications, working closely with cross-functional engineering, product, and business leadership teams. You will be responsible for architecting and deploying advanced LLM-based solutions and agentic workflows that directly enhance user experience and operational efficiency. By transforming raw data into intelligent, automated systems, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our AI-first strategy and delivering measurable business impact for our global clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement end-to-end Generative AI pipelines to automate complex business processes and improve decision-making accuracy.
- Fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) and optimize retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures to ensure high-quality, context-aware outputs for end-users.
- Develop and deploy agentic AI frameworks that enable autonomous task execution, significantly reducing manual intervention in customer-facing workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify high-impact use cases, translating abstract business requirements into robust machine learning models.
- Mentor junior data scientists and establish best practices for model evaluation, monitoring, and production-grade deployment to ensure long-term system reliability.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in building and scaling NLP and Deep Learning models, with a deep understanding of transformer architectures and modern LLM frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with a proven ability to handle large-scale datasets and optimize complex data pipelines for performance.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate technical AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and business value.
- Proven track record of working in high-growth environments, with the flexibility to thrive in a hybrid work setup across our Bangalore, Chennai, Gurgaon, Pune, Kolkata, or Hyderabad offices.
- A Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, complemented by 5-12 years of hands-on experience in the AI/ML domain.
