Data Scientist - Computer Vision - AI - Healthcare

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Data Scientist with expertise in Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence to develop AI solutions for healthcare applications. The role involves building, training, and optimizing machine learning models for medical image and video analysis while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop AI and Computer Vision models for healthcare applications.

- Build solutions for image classification, object detection, and image segmentation.

- Design, train, fine-tune, and optimize deep learning models.

- Prepare and preprocess medical image and video datasets.

- Evaluate model performance using standard AI metrics.

- Perform model testing, experimentation, and error analysis.

- Stay updated with advancements in Computer Vision, AI, NLP, and Large Language Models (LLMs).

- Collaborate with ML Engineers to deploy models on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Healthcare teams to integrate AI solutions.

- Follow software development best practices, including Git, documentation, and code reviews.

Technical Skills:

- Strong programming skills in Python.

- Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.

- Hands-on experience with OpenCV.

- Good understanding of Image Classification, Object Detection, Image Segmentation, Transfer Learning, and Model Fine-tuning.

- Experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, or Kubeflow.

- Basic understanding of NLP, Transformers, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and Embeddings.

- Knowledge of Vision-Language Models or Multimodal AI is an advantage.

- Understanding of Responsible AI, Explainability, Bias, and Data Privacy.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.

- 8+ years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Deep Learning.

- 1+ year of hands-on experience in Computer Vision projects.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in Healthcare AI or Medical Imaging.

- Exposure to medical imaging modalities such as X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, or Medical Videos.

- Experience with Vision-Language Models, Multimodal AI, or Medical Report Generation.

- Research publications or contributions to open-source AI projects are a plus.

- Immediate joiners preferred.
