Data Scientist - Job Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist who can design, build, and optimize advanced AI/ML models for healthcare and revenue cycle automation. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to translate domain challenges into production-grade solutions. This is a hands-on role for someone passionate about applied machine learning, generative AI, and large-scale data systems, with opportunities to mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build, fine-tune, and deploy ML/AI models (LLMs, GenAI, NLP, Computer Vision) for healthcare and revenue cycle applications.

- Conduct research on state-of-the-art algorithms and integrate them into production systems.

- Work on model optimization for scale - low-latency inference, high accuracy, and cost efficiency.

- Design data pipelines and workflows for model training, evaluation, and deployment.

- Collaborate with backend engineers to embed models into customer-facing applications.

- Analyze structured and unstructured healthcare data to extract meaningful insights.

- Perform error analysis, A/B testing, and continuous model improvements.

- Mentor junior data scientists/ML engineers and contribute to technical reviews.

- Stay up to date with latest advances in AI/ML, especially in NLP, LLMs, and applied healthcare AI.

Requirements:

- 3 - 7 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Applied AI roles.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Python, PyTorch, Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, REST APIs.

- Deep understanding of NLP, Large Language Models, or GenAI frameworks.

- Experience with healthcare/clinical datasets is a strong plus.

- Familiarity with building and scaling data pipelines and model deployment.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

- Solid grounding in statistics, ML algorithms, and optimization techniques.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions clearly
