Data Science Consultant - Supply Chain & Operations Analytics

As a Data Science Consultant - Supply Chain & Operations Analytics, you will be at the forefront of transforming our clients' supply chains using cutting-edge data science techniques. You will collaborate directly with clients and internal teams to understand their business challenges, develop innovative analytical solutions, and implement those solutions to drive measurable improvements in their operations. Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze complex supply chain data to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement for clients.

- Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms for forecasting, inventory optimization, and network design to enhance client efficiency.

- Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to clients through clear and concise presentations and reports, ensuring buy-in and action.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain experts and IT professionals, to integrate analytical solutions into client systems and processes, driving sustainable change.

- Design and execute pilot programs to test and validate analytical solutions, demonstrating their value and feasibility to clients.

- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science and supply chain analytics, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge to provide cutting-edge solutions.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to apply data analytics techniques to solve complex supply chain and operations problems.

- Proven expertise in developing and implementing statistical models and machine learning algorithms for forecasting, optimization, and simulation.

- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Python, R, or SQL.

- Experience with supply chain planning systems (e.g., SAP APO, JDA/Blue Yonder, Oracle SCM) is a plus.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related discipline.
