Job Title: Data Science Consultant / Manager Supply Chain Analytics

Location: Gurugram, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad. Hybrid

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Supply Chain Data Science Consultant with strong hands-on experience in supply chain analytics and advanced forecasting. This role goes beyond generic analytics and focuses on end-to-end solutioning across inventory, logistics, fulfilment, and demand forecasting for global clients. The role requires a consulting mindset, strong data science depth, and the ability to translate complex models into business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver end-to-end supply chain analytics solutions for global clients

- Work on inventory optimization, logistics, fulfilment, and network planning use cases

- Build and deploy advanced forecasting models for demand and operations

- Perform scenario analysis, what-if simulations, and optimization modeling

- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to drive decision-making

- Own the full analytics lifecycle: problem framing modeling insights delivery

Must-Have Skills:

Supply Chain Domain:

- Strong experience in supply chain, inventory, logistics, purchase, and fulfilment analytics

- Exposure to CPG, FMCG, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Chemicals, or Industrial sectors

Advanced Forecasting & Modeling:

- Hands-on experience with time-series forecasting, including:

- ARIMA / ARIMAX and/or

- Neural networks (LSTM / RNN)

- Experience beyond basic time-series models (trend, seasonality, scenario-based forecasting)

Data Science & Optimization:

- Python (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark) and SQL

- Optimization / simulation exposure (inventory, network, routing, capacity planning)

- Experience with what-if analysis and prescriptive analytics

Consulting Exposure (Mandatory):

- Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment

- Proven ability to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions

- Strong stakeholder communication and presentation skills
