Data Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Snowflake Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions on cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Snowflake, data warehousing, and modern ETL/ELT frameworks, along with hands-on exposure to cloud ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake

- Develop and optimize data models, data warehouses, and data lakes

- Implement ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data

- Integrate data from multiple sources ensuring data quality and consistency

- Optimize Snowflake performance (query tuning, clustering, partitioning)

- Collaborate with business and analytics teams to understand data requirements

- Ensure data security, governance, and compliance standards

- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues

Required Skills & Experience:

- 5-12 years of experience in data engineering

- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Cloud Data Platform

- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling concepts

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Strong experience in ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, dbt, Airflow)

- Expertise in Python/Scala for data processing

- Experience with data warehousing concepts and big data technologies

- Familiarity with version control tools like Git

Good to Have:

- Experience with real-time data streaming (Kafka, Spark Streaming)

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

- Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)

- Snowflake certification is a plus
