Data Analytics Role - Data & Reporting Technology - SAS & AWS - BFS

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Data & Reporting Technology Professional with strong expertise in AWS data tooling and SAS to lead and deliver data-driven solutions for regulatory and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing data projects end-to-end, collaborating with stakeholders and building scalable data pipelines and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using AWS services (Glue, Athena, S3, QuickSight).

- Good understanding of SAS/SQL programs for data analysis, transformation and reporting.

- Experience in migrating SAS programs to AWS reporting tools e.g. Athena, Glue, Quicksight etc.

- Create, maintain and optimize SAS datasets, reports and macros.

- Ensure high-quality data cleaning, validation and transformation.

- Good understanding of AWS Data Platforms like ETL pipelines (Glue), Amazon Athena SQL queries on S3.

- Write, design and optimize SAS codes for efficiency and performance along with troubleshooting and debugging SAS programs.

- Experience in working with cross-functional and local technology teams for Data integration, Data governance and data delivery in the defined timelines.

- Lead or support data-related projects end-to-end and provide training & mentorship on SAS & AWS tools and share best practices.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Perform testing and end to end documentation of existing programs align with the client standards and governance.

- Stay updated with latest AWS/SAS tools, techniques and updates.

- Knowledge of Banking and trading book products will be an extra advantage and will be preferred.

- Exposure in regulatory reporting (good to have).

Mandatory Skills:

- SAS Programming (Macros, datasets, PROC-based reporting), AWS Glue & Athena, Data analytics & transformation experience.
