About the Role:
We are looking for a Head of Reporting, Insight, and Analysis to lead the delivery of reporting across our Marketing function encompassing web, lifecycle campaigns, and multi-channel audience engagement. More importantly, we expect the person in this role to transform how we report and move us away from static, backward-looking reports toward a more dynamic, forward-looking, and insightful view of performance.
The person needs to be able to reimagine how we measure and act on marketing data delivering actionable recommendations that drive decision-making and enable true cause-and-effect analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze end-to-end marketing data to provide insights that will uncover patterns and opportunities thereby enabling accurate business decisions.
- Act strategically thereby transforming raw data into clear stories with business intelligence leading to faster stakeholder actions.
- Establish a framework that promotes standardization and consistency while enabling insightful, dynamic, interactive and forward-looking reporting.
- Partner with stakeholders from Web, Lifecycle, Product Marketing, and Senior Leadership to define the key metrics, goals, and reports that will drive their decision making.
- Lead a team of data engineers and analysts providing them with mentoring and technical guidance so that they produce actionable analysis.
- Collaborate with the enterprise data platform team for technical integration with the company big data platform and its services.
- Identify, implement, and leverage cutting-edge technologies including data modeling, visualization, automation, and possibly conversational AI to enhance delivery of reports and insights.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Solid technical background with data analytics tools and technologies like Databricks.
- Proficient in data modelling, advanced SQL, and data processing programming language like Python.
- Technical leadership skills with a proven track record of leading talented data engineers and analysts.
- Experience working with disparate marketing data sets from sources like web, lifecycle campaigns, user audiences, social media, etc.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
- Able to communicate business results as stories understandable by a diverse set of stakeholders.
- Familiar with modern visualization tools like Tableau.
- Experience working with cloud-based big data processing services, including ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Background in conversational/business driven AI and automation will be a big plus.
- Naturally challenged by the status quo and motivated to innovate.
