About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Reconciliation Analyst with expertise in Duco to join our data operations and analytics team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing complex data reconciliation processes across financial systems, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting operational and regulatory reporting requirements.

This role requires a solid understanding of capital markets, trade lifecycle, and hands-on experience with reconciliation technologies.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Reconciliation Management

- Lead the complete lifecycle of data reconciliation activities using Duco, including onboarding new reconciliations, monitoring daily processes, managing exceptions, and ensuring timely resolution.

Duco Platform Ownership

- Configure, optimize, and maintain reconciliation rules and workflows within the Duco platform.

- Act as the subject matter expert for all Duco-related activities within the team.

- Exception Management & Resolution

- Monitor reconciliation outputs and exceptions.

- Conduct root-cause analysis and collaborate with upstream/downstream teams to resolve issues efficiently.

Data Governance & Accuracy

- Ensure data consistency, completeness, and integrity across systems.

- Contribute to data quality initiatives and participate in governance forums.

Reporting & Insights

- Design, build, and automate reports and dashboards using Duco's native reporting features or external reporting tools, to provide transparency and metrics to business stakeholders.

Stakeholder Collaboration

- Work closely with business analysts, technology teams, and operations to translate business requirements into reconciliation solutions.

Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain up-to-date documentation for all reconciliation processes, configurations, and exceptions.

- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

- Reconciliation Expertise

- Minimum 5 years of experience in data reconciliation roles, ideally within capital markets, investment banking, or financial services.

- Hands-on Experience with Duco

- Proficiency in configuring reconciliation rules, building logic-based matching criteria, handling exceptions, and setting up alerts and workflows within Duco.

SQL & Data Handling

- Working knowledge of SQL for querying, data extraction, and validation.

- Ability to manipulate and interpret large data sets across platforms.

Financial Instruments & Trade Lifecycle

- Familiarity with asset classes (equities, fixed income, derivatives), front-to-back trade lifecycle, settlements, and reference data management.

IT & Regulatory Knowledge

- Understanding of Finance IT and Regulatory IT systems.

- Awareness of global regulations such as MiFID II, EMIR, Dodd-Frank, etc.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills

- Strong capability to troubleshoot data anomalies and identify root causes using a logical, data-driven approach.

Communication & Collaboration

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to interact with cross-functional stakeholders in a clear and structured manner.
