Dalton Investments - Associate - Equity Research

Dalton Investment Advisory Services Private Limited is seeking a Research Associate to support the firm's research functions and operational activities. The primary responsibility will be conducting equity research on Indian listed securities. The candidate will also assist with operational activities related to the firm's newly launched AIF fund. This position is based in Mumbai.

Research Activities

- Monitor portfolio companies comprising listed entities in the Indian market.

- Support research on individual listed companies, including business evaluation, competitive analysis, and valuation.

- Gain proficiency in Bloomberg and other financial research tools.

Operations Responsibilities

- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and timely execution of all fund-related activities for Dalton India AIF.

- Liaise with external vendors and service providers, including Fund Accounting, RTA, Custodian, Compliance, and Auditors, to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.

Qualifications

- CA/MBA with 1-3 years of experience in Equity Research will be preferred.

- CFA candidates will be preferred.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Strong attention to detail and a desire to thrive in a collaborative, small-team environment.
