Role Overview:

We are currently in the process of building the Learning and Development (L&D) function at Daloopa and are looking for a Senior Manager to join the team.


We are creating an L&D framework that will help individuals across levels to follow a continuous learning and holistic development path covering both domain and professional skills.

The Senior Manager will report to the L&D Head, with the role entailing a mix of supervisory and hands-on responsibilities for the setup, execution, and refinement of various L&D programs and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy, Design and Planning:

- Conduct periodic Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to ensure that existing L&D programs remain relevant to organizational needs; recommend changes and/or new programs if required.

- Design learning paths and annual training calendars for various levels.

- Evaluate and expand external (online or classroom) training module catalogues and collaborate with internal SMEs to ensure relevance and structure of content.

- Refine or design L&D processes such as feedback collection, training effectiveness measurement, TNA, tracking, and reporting.

- Stay abreast of industry best practices in L&D.

- Coordinate with vendors to select and implement customized frameworks on LMS.

Project Implementation and Management:

- Oversee all L&D programs and processes.

- Maintain an overall L&D initiatives tracker.

Team Management:

- Manage and mentor team members, providing day-to-day oversight, performance reviews, and career planning.

- Guide the team on execution and input into L&D strategy.

- Delegate tasks effectively and assign responsibilities for programs and processes.

Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate across functions with Operations, HR, IT, Product, and QA on various L&D program aspects.

- Partner with the L&D Head to work with sector leaders and executives to align business and people goals with L&D needs.

- Recalibrate programs or modules based on feedback and effectiveness measurements.
