Role Overview:
The Category Head will lead the Education category and drive business growth through strategic space selling, client acquisition, and innovative advertising solutions.
This role requires a proven leader with strong market knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop and mentor a sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the category sales team to achieve revenue targets.
- Drive strategic space selling within the Education category, ensuring revenue maximization.
- Identify new business opportunities and unexplored market segments.
- Develop and execute innovative advertising solutions tailored for major accounts.
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships to ensure consistent growth.
- Expand market share by acquiring new clients and unlocking fresh revenue streams.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in print media, advertising, or related sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and achieve ambitious revenue targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Candidates from print media industry will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in the education/academic sales segment may also be considered
