About the Company

Our client is a fast-growing consumer tech company building innovative products at the intersection of technology and lifestyle. With a strong product-market fit and a rapidly expanding customer base, they are now looking to scale their D2C business as a key growth driver.

Role Overview

As the Head of D2C, you will be responsible for building, scaling, and optimizing the companys direct-to-consumer channel. You will own the P&L for the D2C vertical, lead digital marketing, growth, customer experience, and operations, and play a pivotal role in shaping the consumer journey end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategy & Ownership: Define and execute the D2C strategy to drive growth, profitability, and market leadership.

- P&L Management: Own the D2C revenue, margins, and overall profitability.

- Growth & Marketing: Lead performance marketing, CRM, retention, SEO/SEM, influencer, and brand marketing efforts to maximize customer acquisition and LTV.

- E-commerce Operations: Manage the website/app, digital storefront, logistics, payments, and supply chain for seamless consumer experience.

- CX & Retention: Build best-in-class post-purchase journeys, loyalty programs, and community engagement to drive repeat purchases.

- Team Leadership: Hire, mentor, and lead a cross-functional D2C team across marketing, product, design, and operations.

- Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics and consumer insights to continuously optimize campaigns, product positioning, and customer journeys.

- Partnerships & Ecosystem: Collaborate with marketplaces, payment gateways, and technology partners to enhance D2C capabilities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 8 to 15 years of experience in D2C / e-commerce, with leadership experience in a consumer brand or consumer tech company.

- Proven track record of scaling D2C businesses and managing P&L.

- Strong expertise in digital marketing, growth, retention, and customer lifecycle management.

- Deep understanding of D2C technology stacks (Shopify, Magento, CRM, analytics tools, etc.).

- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to build and inspire high-performing teams.

- Entrepreneurial mindset with passion for building consumer-first businesses.
