
Description: Serve as an internal reference and expert for processes in area(s) of Talent Acquisition; address employee, manager, and HR Business Partner inquiries.
Responsibilities:
- As a member of the Human Resources Operations (HR Ops) department, the main responsibilities of the HR Operations Specialist are listed below.
- Support alternative/additional specialty areas as needed.
- Serve as an internal reference and expert for processes in specialty area(s); address employee, manager, and HR Business Partner inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with Service Partnership Agreements (SPAs) for managed services.
- Ensure adherence to Cytel's policies and controls, including approvals and HR guidelines.
- Maintain accuracy and completeness of end-to-end processes and documentation.
- Support relevant stakeholders during audits and compliance reporting.
- Update/maintain HR Intranet content as directed by the relevant Center of Expertise (COE).
- Support the adoption of current and new services provided by HR Operations.
- Cross-train and provide back-up for members of the team as directed.
- Route client and end-user feedback, concerns, and requests to HR Operations leadership for action implementation.
- Participate in Project/Client team discussions to ensure alignment with HR Ops and HR team requirements and strategy.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes, systems, and service delivery by identifying enhancement areas and proposing solutions.
- Support strategies for enhancing HR Operations organizational capacity through technology and innovation.
Specialty Service Area:
- Talent Acquisition.
- Administer HR transactional processes globally, including interview scheduling, offer letters, background checks and other pre-employment screenings, employee referral program, and any other pre-boarding and first-day administration.
- Post jobs and recruitment advertising.
- Monitor partner job boards and Cytel's agreements with them.
- Maintain job descriptions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: Bachelors degree preferred but not required.
Minimum Work Requirements:
- Three (3) or more years of relative experience in Human Resources.
- Functional knowledge of HR processes, policies, and practices, with knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Operational understanding of HR Systems.
- Experience with Oracle HCM is a plus.
- Desirable experience in delivering HR transactional business services or shared services, process improvement and management of HR operational services delivery.
- Desirable experience in Service Delivery or business transformation projects strategy and/or deployment.
- Willing to accommodate earlier/later work schedules to effectively support clients across diverse time zones.
- APAC roles only: Hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work with in-office presence, scheduled for 2 days per week.
