About the Role
- We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Manager with a strong background in the Events & Exhibitions industry.
- This role is focused entirely on business acquisition, strategic growth, and client relationship management.
- The ideal candidate will be a self-driven professional capable of independently handling client conversations, closing deals, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Business Growth:
- Identify and target new business opportunities across corporates, government bodies, industry associations, and exhibition organizers.
- Drive lead generation and convert qualified leads into high-value clients for events, exhibitions, and stall fabrication projects.
- Understand client pain points and develop tailored solutions that align with business needs and experiential objectives.
Strategic Sales Development:
- Develop and execute business strategies to expand market reach and enter untapped sectors.
- Stay updated on competitor activities, market trends, and client requirements to adapt sales approaches.
- Work on pricing strategies and proposal positioning to maximize conversion rates.
- Utilize strong understanding of venue coordination, fabrication timelines, vendor ecosystems, permits, and exhibition lifecycle management.
- Deliver high-quality proposals for B2B exhibitions, conferences, brand activations, and custom booth builds.
- Provide consultative, value-driven sales engagement to clients.
Client Relations & Internal Collaboration
- Serve as the senior point of contact for all client interactions-from initial briefing to post-event evaluation.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (design, fabrication, production, servicing) to deliver superior client outcomes.
- Ensure seamless communication, adherence to timelines, and quality standards.
Candidate Requirements:
- 10+ years of overall experience, with at least 8 years in the Events & Exhibitions industry.
- Proven track record in acquiring new business and closing high-value deals independently.
- Strong knowledge of event execution, fabrication processes, budgeting, and on-ground management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, proposal formats, and MS Office.
- Strategic outlook with strong business acumen.
- Energetic, proactive, and well-connected within the industry.
