Job Description: We are seeking a strategic and commercially strong Customer Marketing Manager to lead Customer & Channel Marketing for Modern Trade and E-commerce in India.

This role will be responsible for driving category growth, leading Joint Business Planning (JBP) with key national accounts, optimizing trade investments, and delivering sustainable revenue and market share growth.

The incumbent will act as a key bridge between Brand Marketing and Sales, ensuring excellence in both online and in-store execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Channel Strategy & Growth:

- Define and lead the channel strategy for Modern Trade and E-commerce.

- Own annual business plans and growth roadmaps for key accounts.

- Drive profitable topline growth and market share expansion.

Key Account & JBP Leadership:

- Lead JBP with major partners such as Reliance Retail, DMart, Amazon India, and Flipkart.

- Identify win-win growth initiatives across assortment, pricing, promotions, and visibility.

- Influence senior stakeholders internally and externally.

E-commerce Acceleration:

- Drive digital shelf excellence, search optimization, and content strategy.

- Lead platform media planning (sponsored ads, banners, performance marketing).

- Monitor conversion, traffic, and ROI metrics to optimize investments.

Trade Marketing Excellence:

- Lead promotion planning and trade spend optimization.

- Evaluate ROI and drive efficiency in trade investments.

- Ensure strong in-store execution and visibility programs.

Insights & Performance Management:

- Leverage Nielsen/Kantar and internal data to unlock category growth opportunities.

- Track KPIs including sales, share, distribution, and profitability.

- Provide monthly business reviews and strategic recommendations.

Team & Cross-functional Leadership:

- Mentor and develop junior customer marketing resources (if applicable).

- Partner closely with Sales, Brand, Finance, and Supply Chain.

- Lead execution of new product launches in MT & E-commerce.

Candidate Profile:

- MBA with 8 - 12 years of experience in FMCG Customer Marketing / Trade Marketing / Key Account Marketing.

- Strong exposure to Indian Modern Trade , E-commerce and quick commerce ecosystems.

- Proven track record of leading JBPs and delivering revenue growth.

- Strong commercial acumen and financial understanding (P&L management).

- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
