Job Title: Controller - Revenue & Credit

Location: Bhubaneshwar/Bangalore

Reports To: Head of Finance

As we scale, we need a Controller Revenue & Credit to drive end-to-end revenue assurance, strengthen credit control policies, and ensure seamless collections while minimizing financial risk.

Role Overview:

The Controller Revenue & Credit will be responsible for managing and optimizing CureBays revenue processes, enforcing credit policies, and ensuring that collections remain healthy across all business lines. This role will focus on revenue integrity, credit risk management, collections optimization, and system automation to support CureBays growth without compromising financial discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Revenue Assurance & Control:

- Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition across all business lines.

- Monitor pricing, discounts, and contractual revenue terms to prevent revenue leakages.

- Strengthen billing processes and align revenue policies with financial objectives.

- Implement real-time revenue dashboards to track performance across service lines.

2. Credit Control & Risk Management:

- Develop and enforce strong credit policies, ensuring structured partner credit limits based on risk assessment.

- Implement credit profiling and scoring models using both internal and external data.

- Automate credit approval workflows for partners, ensuring no excessive credit risk exposure.

- Ensure no sales or services are extended to partners with excessive overdue payments without senior-level approvals.

3. Collections & Accounts Receivable Optimization:

- Drive collections strategy to minimize Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and overdue balances.

- Establish automated reminders and follow-up systems for outstanding invoices.

- Implement fintech-driven collection methods (e.g., UPI mandates, e-NACH, auto-deductions) to reduce manual dependency.

- Work closely with sales and operations teams to ensure strong alignment on payment collections.

4. System & Process Automation:

- Integrate credit control and collections workflows into CureBays systems (POS, ERP, Connect App, and Accounting Software).

- Build real-time tracking systems for credit limits, payment history, and outstanding balances.

- Enhance visibility into financial risk through automated reporting and dashboards.

5. Governance & Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (Ind-AS/IFRS) related to revenue recognition and credit risk.

- Strengthen contracts and enforce strict payment terms and penalties for overdue accounts.

- Implement dispute resolution mechanisms to prevent unnecessary payment delays.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Reduction in Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and overdue payments.

- Improvement in collection efficiency and overdue recovery rates.

- Reduction in revenue leakages and enforcement of pricing discipline.

- Successful implementation of credit scoring and approval workflows.

- Seamless integration of revenue and credit control systems with finance operations.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualifications & Experience:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Accountant (CMA) / MBA (Finance) preferred.

- 10+ years of experience in Revenue Assurance, Credit Control, or Finance Operations.

- Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment, accounts receivable management, and revenue cycle optimization.

- Experience in fintech, SaaS-based collections solutions, or integrating digital payment systems is a plus.
