Role: Head of Marketing

The Role:

We're seeking a Head of Marketing who blends performance marketing expertise with strong creative storytelling. You'll build Ctruh's marketing engine from the ground up - owning strategy, execution, brand, pipeline generation, and team building. From ABM execution to SEO strategy, Google Ads optimization to narrative development, this is a high-impact leadership role demanding both analytical precision and creative excellence.

This is a hands-on role initially - writing copy, running ads, crafting landing pages, developing content - before scaling into a multi-person marketing team.

What You'll Own:

1. Marketing Strategy & Leadership:

- Develop and execute Ctruh's end-to-end B2B marketing strategy aligned with revenue goals

- Own full-funnel marketing planning, budgeting, and ROI

- Define positioning, messaging, and segmentation frameworks

- Build and scale the marketing team (starting solo, growing to 5-8)

- Establish Ctruh as a category leader in immersive commerce

- Report performance analytics, pipeline contribution, and attribution to leadership

2. Demand Generation & Lead Gen:

- Build a multi-channel demand generation engine that consistently produces qualified pipeline

- Execute campaigns across paid, organic, content, email, field marketing, and events

- Own MQL, SQL, and pipeline targets with clear attribution

- Drive lead scoring, nurturing, and conversion optimization

- Partner with sales on alignment, handoff, and feedback loops

- Deploy drip sequences, retargeting, and lifecycle automation

3. Account-Based Marketing (ABM):

- Build and manage ABM programs targeting enterprise accounts

- Develop personalized multi-touch campaigns for high-value targets

- Create account-specific assets, landing pages, and content

- Implement ABM tools (6sense, Demandbase, Terminus, etc.)

- Measure ABM engagement, conversion, and deal acceleration

4. Paid Acquisition & Performance Marketing:

- Own Google Ads end-to-end: Search, Display, YouTube

- Manage LinkedIn, Meta, and other B2B ad platforms

- Run experiments across creatives, landing pages, and audiences

- Optimize CAC, CPL, CPA, ROAS

- Scale winning campaigns strategically

5. SEO & AI Discoverability:

- Build comprehensive SEO strategy across technical, on-page, and off-page

- Conduct persona-driven keyword research and content planning

- Improve site architecture, page speed, and technical SEO

- Develop strategy for AI-powered search discoverability across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, etc.

- Build backlink and digital PR initiatives

- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and intent-driven conversions

6. Content Marketing & Thought Leadership:

- Develop content strategy across blogs, whitepapers, videos, webinars, and reports

- Create narratives around XR, immersive commerce, and product value

- Produce high-quality content yourself and manage agencies when needed

- Build product marketing assets (case studies, ROI models, feature explainers)

- Define and execute content distribution across owned/earned/paid channels

7. Brand & Creative:

- Build Ctruh's brand identity, tone of voice, and visual language

- Develop compelling messaging frameworks and differentiated positioning

- Create and manage marketing assets: website, collateral, decks, social content

- Oversee creative production with internal designers or agencies

- Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints

8. Website & Conversion Optimization:

- Own website UX, content, and conversion strategy

- Build high-converting landing pages for campaigns and product lines

- Conduct A/B testing on CTAs, layouts, messaging, and flows

- Integrate analytics, heatmaps, and behavioral insights

- Deliver interactive demos, product tours, and conversion-oriented experiences

9. Events & Field Marketing:

- Execute events strategy across webinars, workshops, conferences, and trade shows

- Manage Ctruh's presence at global events (NRF, Shoptalk, major retail/e-commerce events)

- Plan booths, talks, demos, and community engagement

- Develop post-event nurture campaigns

- Build user meetups and community-driven programs

10. Marketing Operations & Technology:

- Implement and manage CRM, automation, analytics, and ABM tools

- Build dashboards for unified visibility across channels

- Lead routing, scoring, attribution modeling

- Maintain data hygiene and segmentation

- Create scalable, repeatable workflows and systems

11. Public Relations & Communications:

- Build PR strategy and own media relationships

- Secure press coverage, features, and analyst mentions

- Draft press releases for product launches, funding, partnerships

- Manage crisis communication and reputation management

- Drive earned media for SEO and AI search visibility

Marketing Channels You'll Lead:

1. Paid: Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, programmatic, sponsored content

2. Organic: SEO, AI search optimization, content, social, PR, communities

3. Direct: Email automation, ABM campaigns, webinars, sales enablement

What We're Looking For:

1. Must-Haves:

- 7-10+ years in B2B marketing with 3-5 years in leadership

- Proven ability to build lead-gen systems from scratch

- Deep ABM expertise

- Hands-on mastery of Google Ads & LinkedIn Ads

- Strong SEO knowledge including AI search optimization

- Experience with HubSpot/Marketo/Pardot

- Strong copywriting, content, and messaging ability

- Highly analytical, data-driven mindset

- Experience building and scaling marketing teams

- Comfortable in fast-paced early-stage environments

2. Highly Desirable:

- SaaS or e-commerce tech marketing experience

- Background in AI, 3D, AR/VR, or immersive tech

- Experience marketing to retail and D2C brands

- PLG or developer marketing experience

- Ability to design basic creative assets

- Video production/editing skills

- Experience at high-growth startups

- Strong personal brand or thought leadership
