Job Title: CSR Program Manager

Role Summary:
- The CSR Program Manager is a dynamic senior leadership role responsible for the end-to-end design, meticulous implementation, and effective management of high-impact social initiatives, ensuring strict alignment with the Bank's strategic CSR mandate.
- This role demands a Purpose Driven professional with expertise in navigating the corporate giving landscape, ensuring full compliance with the Companies Act, Schedule VII, and maximizing social impact within the core focus areas: financial inclusion, education, and environment.
- The incumbent will be the primary driver of program scalability, effective NGO Account management, and comprehensive impact reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Development & Execution:
- Design and execute scalable CSR projects and flagship programs that directly align with the Bank's foundational focus areas: financial inclusion, education, and environment.
- Translate the Bank's overarching CSR strategy into detailed, measurable operational plans and budgets for project execution within defined timelines.
- Employ a Disciplined approach to program implementation, ensuring efficient resource utilization and project management methodologies are consistently applied to all initiatives.
Compliance & Governance:
- Serve as the technical expert ensuring full adherence to the Companies Act, Schedule VII, and all stipulated CSR Rules, accurately managing the allocation and deployment of the 2% CSR mandate.
- Oversee all legal and regulatory documentation related to CSR projects, funds disbursement, and partner MOUs.
Partner & Stakeholder Management:
- Partner Management: Conduct thorough due diligence, identify, evaluate, and manage credible NGO and implementation partners (NGO Account management) to ensure project reliability and alignment with the Bank's ethical standards.
- Internal Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate proactively with internal teams (Finance, Legal, HR) to secure resources, coordinate support, and integrate CSR activities into core business functions.
- External Representation: Represent the Bank professionally in external CSR forums, conferences, and industry bodies, positioning the organization as a leader in corporate social responsibility.
- Employee Volunteering: Design and drive impactful employee volunteering initiatives, leveraging the HR team for effective deployment and tracking of participation.
Impact Measurement & Reporting:
- Impact Metrics: Establish and meticulously track performance metrics (KPIs) and rigorous social impact indicators to quantitatively measure the effectiveness of all CSR initiatives.
- Reporting: Prepare high-quality, comprehensive reports for internal stakeholders (Board, CSR Committee) and external audiences, detailing fund utilization, project progress, and verified impact.
- Communication: Develop compelling Social Media Content and internal narratives (impact stories) to communicate the Bank's positive social contributions to all relevant audiences.
Required Key Skills:
- CSR Program Management: Extensive experience (implied seniority) in designing, scaling, and managing large-scale, multi-year CSR programs, preferably within the Banking or BFSI sector.
- Regulatory Compliance: Deep, working knowledge of the Indian Companies Act, Schedule VII, and the operational requirements for managing the 2% CSR mandate.
- Partner Management: Proven ability in Stakeholder Management, particularly in the end-to-end evaluation, contracting, and performance management of non-profit organizations (NGO Account management).
- Strategic Alignment: Expertise in aligning social initiatives with business strategy and specific impact themes (Financial Inclusion, Education, Environment).
- Communication & Advocacy: Excellent communication skills for high-level Stakeholder Management and public representation, including content generation for both internal and external platforms.
- L&D Focus: Experience in organizing or contributing to Training programs, particularly for employee volunteering or partner capacity building.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification or advanced training in Sustainable Development, Social Work, or Public Policy.
- Direct experience in impact assessment methodologies (Social Return on Investment - SROI).
- Background in financial inclusion initiatives or environmental sustainability programs.
- Proficiency in grant management software or project management tools.
- Published reports or documented success stories demonstrating measurable social impact
