About the Role:

We are looking for highly motivated Chartered Accountants (Freshers) to join the Internal Audit team.

The role offers exposure across diverse banking functions, including internal audit of Credit, Treasury, Trade Finance, Market Risk, Branch Banking, Operations, Support Functions, and Offsite Audits.

This is an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in banking, risk management, governance, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in conducting risk-based audits across various banking functions and businesses.

- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management frameworks, and regulatory compliance.

- Perform audit testing, data analysis, and review of processes, transactions, and controls.

- Identify control gaps, process inefficiencies, regulatory non-compliance, and improvement opportunities.

- Prepare audit workpapers, observations, and draft reports.

- Interact with auditees and support issue validation and closure tracking.

- Monitor implementation of corrective actions and audit recommendations.

- Support thematic reviews, regulatory reviews, investigations, and special assignments as required.

Qualification:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) Fresher.

- Strong academic record with interest in Banking, Audit, Risk Management, and Regulatory Compliance.
