Job Title: Manager - Procurement Finance

Department: Supply Chain Finance

Grade: M1

Reports to : Deputy General Manager - Procurement Finance

Location: Mumbai (Head Office)

Job Description :

- Preparation of annual procurement budget of Product Line, partnering with procurement to formulate & execute annual operating plan & operational strategies.

- Preparing and providing monthly variance analysis of cost of goods sold and other month end related reports to stakeholders. Highlighting variances from budgets and forecasts. Put adequate controls on cost movements to ensure expenses within budget limits.

- Collaborate with commodity team to analyse key commodities movements, convert impacts for major products, highlight forecasted costs to Business Units on better pricing decisions.

- Partnering with Supply Chain team for productivity and cost saving projects, identify saving opportunities, help deciding make vs buy, negotiate better terms with suppliers, and ensure cost-effectiveness in procurement activities.

- Support procurement in negotiating contracts by providing financial insights and guidance, ensure contracts are structured in a way that protects the organization financially, taking into account payment terms, penalties, and other financial factors.

- Oversee financial due diligence of potential suppliers and vendors, ensuring financial stability and assessing risks, Work with the procurement team to ensure timely and cost-effective payments.

- Active participation in Inventory management through setting up detailed reviews on slow or non-moving Inventories and provide rightful solution to eliminate write offs impacts.

- Streamline procurement processes to improve financial efficiency and reduce costs, work with cross functions team to adopt financial tools, systems and processes to ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and analysis of procurement activities.

Other requirements :

- Education: Chartered Accountants (Must)

- Experience: Minimum 2-4 Years (preferably from FMCG/FMCD industry)

- Domain Knowledge: Procurement/Manufacturing Experience

- Skills: Well versed with SAP (preferable), Excel etc.
