Critical Care Doctor - MBBS/MD

Qualifications:

- MD in Anesthesia or Pulmonary Medicine

- IDCCM (Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine) or equivalent critical care qualification

- Registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC)

Experience:

- 24 years of post-qualification experience as a Critical Care Specialist

- Experience in a reputed multi-specialty hospital or tertiary care setup preferred

- Strong exposure to ICU protocols, ventilator management, and emergency response systems

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in ICU, HDU, and emergency settings

- Manage and monitor patients on invasive and non-invasive ventilation

- Perform and supervise critical care procedures such as:

1. Endotracheal intubation

2. Central venous and arterial line insertion

3. Tracheostomy care

4. Hemodynamic monitoring

- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, surgeons, anesthetists, nursing staff, and allied healthcare professionals

- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and code blue situations

- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, infection control standards, and patient safety guidelines

- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation and clinical records

- Communicate effectively with patients families regarding treatment plans and prognosis

- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and ICU rounds

- Mentor and guide junior doctors, residents, and ICU nursing staff when required
