ROLE SUMMARY	  - The recruit would be responsible primarily for execution but will also support the business development activity in a wide range of coal and mining related consulting and transaction advisory related assignments.   JOB REQUIREMENTS	  - The candidate should be acquainted with the coal/mining scenario in India and should have understanding of the following (demonstrated by past work experience):  Sector related  - Policy and Regulatory Scenario in the coal sector including the end user industries especially power generation and such other sectors as Cement and Steel  - Financial Modelling/ Financial Appraisals/ Pre-Feasibility Analysis preferably for Coal-mining/power projects  - Understanding of structure for companies developing coal-blocks allotted by the Government Bid advisory/Process Management for selection of Mine Developer cum Operator (MDO)/ Joint Venture Partner   - Policy Regulatory environment in exporting countries such as Indonesia, Australia and South Africa.   - Market intelligence in terms of availability and pricing of imported coal including broad understanding of logistics and cost around it.   - Transaction advisory for sourcing imported coal through firm supply contracts/ acquisition of coal-blocks in countries such as Indonesia, Australia and Mozambique.  Qualification: MBA / CA or equivalent and preferably with Mining Engineering Background (ISM),   Skills	  Essential Skill:   - Financial modeling,   - Excellent Presentation skills,   - Developed ability to interact with senior management in PSU and private sector organizations  - Data handling ability  Desirable Skill:   - Coal and mining sector understanding
