Associate Director - Oil & Gas

Role Overview:
We are looking for an exceptional consulting professional to lead initiatives in the Oil & Gas and New Energies segment. The candidate will be responsible for driving sector growth, building business, supporting strategic initiatives, and engaging with relevant stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new opportunities in Oil & Natural Gas/LNG (especially in midstream & downstream), LPG, Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Liquid Petroleum/Hydrocarbon Products, CBG, Biofuels, Green Hydrogen & its derivatives and CCUS.
- To spearhead business development, establish and maintain strong business relationships with clients, develop and scale up the business.
- Meet and exceed annual targets by continuous lead generation and maintaining a healthy pipeline.
- Develop and execute plans to support growth and innovation in the Oil & Gas and New Energies segment. Work with clients to address their operational and strategic challenges.
- Prepare detailed project proposals, carry out commercial due diligence, valuation & transaction advisory related assignments, techno-commercial feasibility studies, prepare business plan, strategy formulation, market assessment and policy & regulatory assignments, among others.
- Ensure project quality, profitability, client satisfaction, payment collections and timelines.
- Keep a track of market trends, supply-demand forecasts, pricing dynamics, and important domestic & global developments.
- Business acumen including a solid grasp of commercial strategy, corporate finance, and financial modelling.
- Exceptional articulation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive discussions at senior levels and CXOs.
- Experience in leading a cross-functional team of Sr. Consultants/Consultants.
- Go-getter with a self-driven mindset and ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-impact consulting environment.
- Business relationships with overseas clients in the Middle East and Africa including National Oil & Gas Companies in GCC, other Energy companies, Funds (PE, VC, Wealth), consulting firms, Multilaterals is preferred.
Required Qualification: MBA and B.Tech./B.E.
Experience:
- 11+ years of professional experience in the relevant segment.
- Background in consulting (at least 7 years) and strategy is essential.
