Role Summary


The Partnership & Strategic Alliances Manager will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, managing, and scaling strategic partnerships across banks, NBFCs, fintechs, DSAs, service providers, and ecosystem partners. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, improving product reach, negotiating commercials, and building long-term mutually beneficial alliances aligned with the companys business objectives.


Key Responsibilities


- The incumbent will lead end-to-end partnership lifecycle management including identifying potential partners, initiating discussions, pitching company products and capabilities, negotiating commercials and contractual terms, and closing partnership agreements.


- The role involves coordinating with internal teams such as product, credit, operations, legal, compliance, and technology to ensure seamless onboarding and go-live of partners.


- The manager will be responsible for tracking partner performance, driving business volumes, resolving operational issues, and continuously optimizing partnership models.


- The role also includes market research to identify new alliance opportunities, structuring co-branded or co-lending models, and ensuring partnerships comply with regulatory and internal policy frameworks.

Partnership Coverage (Typical):

- Banks & NBFCs (Lending / Co-lending / DSAs)

- Fintech platforms & marketplaces

- Credit bureaus, KYC, and tech service providers

- Insurance, wealth, and cross-sell ecosystem partners

Skills & Competencies

- Strong negotiation and commercial structuring skills

- Ability to build and manage senior-level stakeholder relationships

- Good understanding of lending / fintech / financial services ecosystem

- Cross-functional coordination and project management skills

- Data-driven approach to track partner performance and ROI

- Excellent communication and presentation abilities

Eligibility & Experience

- 4 to 8 years of experience in partnerships, alliances, business development, or strategic roles

- Prior exposure to fintech, NBFC, banking, or financial services preferred

- Experience in handling external partners and closing commercial agreements

- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
