
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Strategy & Business Partnering
- Act as a business partner to founders and functional heads (Credit, Tech, Product, Collections, Operations, Marketing).
- Understand manpower needs and create annual and quarterly hiring plans.
- Support organisation design as the team scales.
2. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for all roles - sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and joining.
- Build and manage relationships with consultants, job portals, and campuses.
- Drive a smooth onboarding & induction process for new joinees and ensure proper documentation.
3. HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain and update employee records, HRMS, attendance, and leave management.
- Coordinate payroll inputs with Finance (CTC structure, variable pay, incentives, deductions, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and HR policies (PF, ESI, Shops & Establishment, POSH, etc.).
4. Performance Management & Engagement
- Implement and manage KRA / KPI-based performance review cycles.
- Support managers in goal setting, performance feedback and improvement plans.
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives to maintain a positive and performance-driven culture.
5. Policies, Processes & Culture
- Draft, implement and periodically update HR policies, employee handbook and SOPs suited for a fintech environment.
- Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and transparency aligned with CreditMitra's values.
- Handle employee queries, grievances and conflict resolution in a fair and professional manner.
6. Training & Development
- Identify training needs across functions (credit, collections, sales, customer support, etc.).
- Coordinate internal and external trainings, especially for soft skills, compliance and functional capability building.
7. Reporting & Analytics
- Maintain HR dashboards and MIS - headcount, attrition, hiring TAT, attendance, performance summary etc.
- Provide regular reports and insights to management for decision making.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5-8 years of experience in HR, with at least 2-3 years in a manager / lead role.
- Prior experience in fintech / NBFC / BFSI / startup environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR operations, compliance, recruitment and performance management.
- Hands-on experience with HRMS / payroll and working with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
