Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Business Head to lead and scale our Insurance Broking vertical under CreditMitra. The role involves driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing a high-performing sales and operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Strategy & Growth:
- Define and execute the overall strategy for the insurance broking business
- Drive revenue targets across health, life, and general insurance products
- Identify new market opportunities and expansion channels
Partnerships & Alliances:
- Build and manage relationships with insurers, aggregators, and distribution partners
- Negotiate commercial agreements and drive product integrations
Sales & Distribution:
- Lead digital and offline distribution channels
- Develop B2C and B2B2C models aligned with CreditMitras ecosystem
- Monitor funnel metrics, conversions, and customer acquisition cost
Team Leadership:
- Build, manage, and mentor sales, operations, and partnership teams
- Set KPIs and ensure performance-driven culture
Regulatory & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India guidelines
- Oversee licensing, audits, and compliance frameworks
Product & Operations:
- Work closely with tech and product teams for platform integration
- Optimize customer journey, underwriting flow, and claims support
Key Requirements:
- 8-15 years of experience in insurance broking / insurtech / BFSI
- Strong understanding of insurance products (Life, Health, General)
- Proven track record in scaling insurance distribution
- Experience working with insurers and regulators
- Leadership experience with team management
