We Offer: - Understand front to back trade flow and its subsequent system and accounting impact. Co-ordinate with various stakeholders for appropriate adjustments so as to ensure timely closure of dormant books and departments - Analyze, explain and validate the break explanations and/or correction provided by Line PC. - Providing subject matter expertise (SME) to Line PC, FA and other groups. These responsibilities require a good understanding of accounting, products and trade flows between different departments within the bank (Front Office, Operations and Financial Accounting departments). - Take ownership of any issues that arise from the day to day and monthly processes with a view to resolving these in an efficient and timely manner. - Liaise with Line PC, FA, FO and Accounting Policy to drive consistency of accounting treatment and reporting. - Member of a team responsible for daily dormant book monitoring, Suspense break investigation, MIS reporting, Stakeholder management including regulators and Auditors. - Work independently, able to multi-task & performs supervision over a range of tasks & moderately complex issues, with deliverables and schedules set by others. - Understand, ensure and operate within the framework of our Ethical Values & Professional Standards. - Analyze moderate to advanced issues and escalate complex issues to the next level. You Offer: - At least 3 to 5 years of work experience in Product control, - Self motivated with drive for excellence and strong Analytical ability. - Good Communication and Organizational skills. - Accuracy and attention to detail. - Good expertise with MS Office application, knowledge of other technological languages (R, Python, SQL, VBA) will be added advantage.
