Credit Strategy Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Developing strategies that will help manage risk and drive growth in the face of shifting consumer and regulatory demands

- Drive improvements in credit performance by implementing future consumer credit trends to existing credit processes and testing hypotheses using rigorous monitoring and analysis

- Work closely with colleagues across the Company, be it Credit, Product or Operations

- Supplementing conceptual thinking skills must be supplemented by a strong quantitative orientation.

- Strong decision maker, able to bring a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to business

- Good written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills

- Drive and execute a plan in an uncertain and fluid environment.

Skills:

- Highly analytical and research-oriented

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong knowledge of credit risk analysis/underwriting principles, methods, and practices

- Manage multiple projects and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment

- Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate effectively with others

- Ability to approach problems quantitatively and qualitatively

- Attention to details

- Possess strong problem-solving skills (hypothesis-driven thinking, analytical, quantitative, conceptual skills).

Experience & Qualification:

- 5+ years' experience in credit / risk management roles (preferably consumer loans) in a bank, NBFC, or e-commerce start-up

- CA or MBA or master's degree in finance, Accounting or Analytics
