Core Responsibilities:
- Audit Strategy & Execution: Lead the end-to-end audit lifecycle, including risk assessment, planning, testing, and reporting, ensuring alignment with 2026 industry standards.
- Technical Risk Assessment: Evaluate control effectiveness within SDLC, system architectures, databases, and operating systems.
- Cybersecurity Oversight: Assess the firm's defense posture using advanced knowledge of cybersecurity domains and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, DORA).
- Data-Driven Auditing: Utilize SQL, Excel, and advanced analytics to identify anomalies and systemic risks within large datasets.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex technical risks and business impacts to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Coach junior team members and drive the adoption of agile audit techniques.
- Continuous Monitoring: Implement processes to provide real-time assurance over critical IT and financial systems.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a Technology Auditor.
- Education: Degree or professional certification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of software development, modern system architecture, databases (SQL/NoSQL), operating systems, and messaging protocols.
- Analytical Skills: Proven proficiency in data analysis using Excel or SQL.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to learn new processes rapidly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: Active CISA (strongly preferred), CISSP, CEH, or OSCP.
- Programming: Ability to review or develop code in Java, C++, or Python.
- Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of financial products, services, and the relevant regulatory landscape.
- Data Science: Experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and teams through organizational change.
