Job Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end portfolio analysis and monitoring of retail lending products on a monthly basis and present insights, trends, and risk observations to senior management.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of retail credit portfolios including Vehicle Finance, Personal Loans, Credit Cards, and Mortgage Loans etc to identify emerging risks, portfolio performance trends, and potential growth opportunities.
- Work closely with the Credit & Business to support portfolio management, underwriting improvements, and policy-level modifications.
- Develop, monitor, and report risk metrics, concentration limits, and other key portfolio indicators. Identify areas of concern and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Skill set of policy review and modification etc, ensuring alignment with internal risk appetite, regulatory guidelines, and market conditions.
- Assist senior team members in activities related to RMC/CRMC, Board Risk Committee, and other governance forums, including preparation of committee decks, analytical notes, and responses to stakeholder queries.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to obtain relevant data, updates, and documents, and ensure timely preparation of deliverables as per committee agendas.
- Track and follow up on actionable points assigned by committee meetings, ensuring closure in coordination with respective SPOCs and senior leadership.
- Ensure adherence to credit risk guidelines, internal frameworks, and regulatory (RBI) compliance requirements.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear presentations and verbal communication.
- Sound understanding of banking regulations, credit norms, and regulatory frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in credit risk analysis across retail lending portfolios.
- Knowledge of risk management concepts, measurement techniques, and portfolio monitoring frameworks.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, with strong data-handling and visualization capabilities.
- Exposure to analytical tools such as Python, R, Power BI, or similar platforms will be an added advantage.
Qualifications and Experience
- Educational Qualification: CA / MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution;
- Experience: Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience in Credit Risk, preferably within reputed Banks or NBFCs.
