- The role is a key role, credit policy manager in Rural Business Finance (RBF) vertical.

The person would be a senior resource, key to the team, he would be responsible for:

- Policy Creation / Designing - writing/ amending existing credit policies in liaison with product, risk team;

- Implementation of policies - ensure the same is implemented (raise BRD, testing) by the digital team.

- Portfolio Quality - Closely monitor and evaluate the overall performance RBF portfolio PAN-India. Study trends/ growth/ risk/ identify Early Warning Signs (EWS) and ensure corrective action is accordingly taken in the policy and we implement it in the field (on-boarding application) through the digital IT team.

- New Initiative's - Ideation and Implementation of new products, if any.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Credit Policy:

- Lead design & implementation of policy for Rural Business Finance.

- Amendments to policies/processes with regard to managing various risks

- To set and monitor threshold limits for various product variants.

- To work with Bureau to track industry level initiatives.

Implementation of Policies:

- Ensure the policy is implemented through the digital team (raising BRD's, testing) in a timely manner.

- Portfolio Monitoring & Analysis

- Monitor and evaluate performance indicators of Portfolio and study trends for growth and risk levels.

- To review the credit portfolio and propose appropriate corrective measures from time to time.

- Identify Early Warning Signals & Key Risk Indicators.

- Identify Industry trends and identify areas of opportunity & risk.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

- Educational Qualifications - MBA / CA

Functional Skills:

- Sound knowledge of lending products and policies for rural businesses.

- Knowledge of lending in Micro-Loan and Micro-LAP, PAN India/ markets (preferred).

- Knowledge of Business Loan, Personal Loan, Gold Loan an add on.

- Knowledge of Excel, Word, Power-point a must. Advanced excel, Power BI / other analysis tools- add-on.

- Good language skills, Presentations Skills to senior management.

- Relevant and total years of experience 5-10 years.
