Credit Manager - Bank

Job Profile:

- Responsible for Credit Appraisal including analyzing financial statements, client background, AML risk assessment, collateral analysis, requisite due diligence and preparation of credit pitch.

- Client interaction and physical client meetings wherever required.

- Customer Verification to comply with all regulatory norms.

- Preparation & Recommendation of Credit Appraisal Memo to the Requisite Authorities.

- Underwrite exposures for the Equipment/Vehicle Finance covering loans, leases and structured transactions.

- Engage with origination team and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery on credit approvals and execution while ensuring compliance to credit policy and other underwriting procedures of the company.

- Supervise the Credit Team on the disbursal process.

- Manage asset quality of the portfolio, monitoring delinquency, engaging with delinquent Borrowers, regular review of specific accounts, covenant monitoring and acting on early warning signals.

- Active portfolio and account management.

- Co-ordination with external agencies as required.

- Managing Team and CPAs.

Expected Candidate Profile:

- MBA Finance or CA Final.

- 8 to 10 years of prior experience in underwriting in Banks/NBFCs preferable. Experience in Equipment underwriting is a must.

- Knowledge of Asset Finance primarily for Equipments.

- Thorough understanding of financial documents.

- Knowledge of Regulatory Compliances.

- Have a strong credit and process orientation and a good understanding of the market and competitors.

- Knowledge of MS Office.
