Credit Investing & Research Role - Global Markets - Investment Firm

A prestigious global investment firm known for its rigorous research culture is expanding its Credit Opportunities research team in India. The team partners closely with global investment professionals to evaluate corporate credit opportunities across developed markets and sectors.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of credit research, financial analysis, and global investing, where your insights directly contribute to identifying and evaluating credit opportunities.

What the role involves:

- Conduct deep fundamental credit analysis of global corporate issuers

- Build detailed financial models and evaluate capital structures across bonds and loans

- Form independent views on credit quality, liquidity and downside risk

- Monitor developments across industries and companies under coverage

- Work closely with investment professionals on live credit opportunities and investment themes

What we are looking for:

- Strong background in corporate credit research, leveraged finance, debt advisory, credit rating, or investment banking

- Expertise in financial modelling and analyzing complex capital structures

- Ability to translate financial analysis into clear credit views

- Strong communication and analytical skills

- Exposure to high-yield, stressed or distressed credits will be advantageous.

- Experience in the renewable or energy transition sector would be a plus.
