Role Overview:

We are looking for a Europe Credit Insurance Analyst to join our European Headquarters Team. The role will be responsible for credit management, trade credit insurance, customer risk assessment, credit-limit management, and credit-control activities across multiple European countries.

You will partner closely with Sales, Treasury, Collections, Finance, and external credit insurers to provide commercially sound credit solutions while protecting the company's financial exposure.

A key focus of the role will be to standardize, automate, and optimize credit-management processes, leveraging SAP, QAD, and modern credit-management tools. You will also contribute to the rollout of SAP Credit Management across Europe and strengthen internal controls, SOX compliance, and anti-fraud processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage daily credit-control activities across European markets.

- Assess the creditworthiness and financial stability of new and existing customers.

- Establish, review, and monitor customer credit limits and credit exposure.

- Identify emerging credit risks and recommend data-driven mitigation measures.

- Coordinate credit-limit approvals and reviews with the Group Credit Manager.

- Monitor customer credit lines, exposure, overdue receivables, and insurance coverage.

- Support the resolution of complex credit issues and customer disputes while protecting company exposure.

Credit Insurance:

- Act as the primary contact for the company's trade credit insurer, Atradius.

- Manage insured customer credit limits and insurance coverage.

- Coordinate new and existing credit-limit requests with the insurer and Group Credit Manager.

- Evaluate coverage limitations and develop commercially viable solutions with Sales.

- Support the management of credit-insurance exposure and related reporting.

- Collaborate with the global Credit Insurance function on regional initiatives.

Business Partnership:

- Partner with Sales and Marketing to provide insights into customer credit performance and risk exposure.

- Balance commercial objectives with appropriate credit-risk controls.

- Work closely with local and central Collections teams to manage overdue receivables.

- Translate complex credit and financial information into clear, actionable management insights.

Systems, Automation & Process Improvement:

- Standardize and harmonize credit-management processes across European countries.

- Improve and automate credit reporting and workflows using SAP and QAD.

- Optimize ERP functionality to support evolving credit-management requirements.

- Drive reduction of manual activities through process automation and workflow improvements.

- Support the integration and effective interaction between SAP and QAD.

- Lead/support the rollout of the SAP Credit Management Tool across Europe.

- Participate in cross-country process-improvement and system-implementation initiatives.

Requirements:

- Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.

- Proven experience in Credit Management / Credit Control, preferably within a multinational or international environment.

- Hands-on experience with customer credit limits, credit exposure, and credit-risk assessment.

- Strong knowledge of trade credit insurance principles and experience working with credit insurers.

- Experience with SAP and QAD ERP systems, preferably in credit/AR-related processes.

- Good understanding of SOX, internal controls, credit-management policies, and compliance requirements.

- Experience in process harmonization, automation, and ERP/system optimization.

- Experience supporting or leading cross-country projects, implementations, or process-transformation initiatives.
